About Natasha Brookes

After graduating from LIPA (1998) with a BA HONS performing arts/music, Natasha worked as a Lead singer with the famous Joe Loss Orchestra, working both home and abroad while touring with the orchestra, Natasha developed her own music school from home, Tashys Singing Academy. After 8 royal performances at Buckingham Palace and many exclusive gigs over 10 years with the band, Natasha decided it was time to move on and develop her career as a Solo Singer, Singing Teacher and Vocal Coach.

Natasha became the singing teacher on the BTEC National In Performing Arts at Southport College,The Singing teacher at Merchant Taylor’s Boys School and Sacred Heart High School in Crosby (1998-2012). After gaining her PGCE, she then decided to open her own music academy, Voice Plus Academy Of Arts which opened its doors in October 2012 .Voice plus continues to grow from strength to strength with Natasha as principle.

Natasha has an extensive wealth of experience as a singer and as a teacher of singing, piano, flute and music theory. Previous students have gone onto gain places at London College Of Music, Guildhall School Of Music, Laine Theatre Arts, Performers, Guildford School Of Acting, The Royal College Of Music (London and Manchester), London studio, London School Of Musical Theatre, Leeds College Of Music, Lipa, The Hammond to name a few but the list is exhaustive. Many students have gone into professional careers in the music industry.

Natasha continues to sing professionally at weddings and various functions whilst also supporting local charities. Most recently she performed a one woman show with her 3 piece band as a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.She continues to perform this show around the north west.
